The following groups are eligible for
equipment from CFS-NB
- Non-Profit organizations and their clients
- Public and private education
Please contact us to see if you qualify for refurbished equipment.
There may be costs associated with transportation from the workshop. Please contact us for more details.
Please note: applicants may be asked to pay for the cost of upgrading donated computers to meet their specific needs if donated equipment is not available.
Free Desktop comes with the following:
- 2 GB RAM
- 80GB or bigger HDD
- Intel Core i-series Cpu or better
- No Operating Sysystem or Linux
- Windows 10 has an extra liscensing fee*
Free Laptop comes with the following:
- 2 GB RAM
- 80GB or bigger HDD
- Core 2 1.80 Ghz Cpu or better
- No Operating Sysystem or Linux
- Windows 10 has an extra licensing fee*

Public schools and First Nation schools should apply through their IT support staff at the district or Department of Education and Early Childhood Development.
